The Longevity Protocol

Evidence-based health optimization across 7 key domains

What is the Longevity Protocol?

The Longevity Protocol is an evidence-based framework for optimizing health across seven key domains: metabolic health, sleep, cognitive function, skin, hormones, gut health, and longevity. Each domain has three tiers, Foundation, Optimize, and Advanced, allowing you to start with basics and progress as you master each level.

Most health advice is fragmented: one article about sleep, another about supplements, a third about exercise. The Longevity Protocol brings it all together into a single, coherent system.

We've organized 77 evidence-based interventions across seven health domains. Each domain is structured into three tiers based on effort, cost, and risk, so you always know where to start and what to tackle next.

This isn't about doing everything at once. It's about building sustainable habits, starting with the highest-impact, lowest-risk interventions, and progressing at your own pace.

How the Protocol Works

Every intervention is categorized into one of three tiers. Start with Foundation, these are the basics that most people should master first. Then move to Optimize as you build capacity. Advanced interventions are for those who have the foundations solid and want to push further.

Foundation

High-impact, low-risk basics. Free or cheap. These are the interventions that matter most and that nearly everyone should do. Master these before moving on.

Once foundations are solid, these interventions offer additional benefits. May involve supplements, devices, or more deliberate protocols.

Higher cost, complexity, or risk. These often require medical supervision or careful research. Only pursue once lower tiers are established.

Our Philosophy

We believe in honest, evidence-based health information. That means:

Distinguishing certainty levels. We clearly label what's well-established (FDA-approved medications with strong trials) versus what's emerging (research compounds with limited human data).

Starting with fundamentals. Sleep, nutrition, and exercise remain the highest-leverage interventions. Supplements and medications should enhance a good foundation, not replace it.

Respecting individual variation. What works for one person may not work for another. We provide frameworks, not prescriptions, you and your doctor make the final decisions.

Updating with evidence. Science evolves. When new research changes our understanding, we update our recommendations.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Longevity Protocol?

The Longevity Protocol is an evidence-based framework that organizes 77 health interventions across seven domains (metabolic health, sleep, cognitive function, skin, hormones, gut health, and longevity). Each intervention is categorized into Foundation, Optimize, or Advanced tiers based on evidence strength, cost, and complexity.

How do I get started with the protocol?

Start with the Foundation tier in the domains most relevant to your goals. These interventions are free or low-cost, have strong evidence, and provide the highest return on investment. Master the basics before moving to Optimize and Advanced interventions.

Do I need to do everything in the protocol?

No. The protocol is a menu, not a mandate. Focus on the domains that align with your health goals. Most people should prioritize sleep, metabolic health, and movement before exploring supplements or advanced interventions.

How is this different from other health protocols?

We organize interventions by evidence level and tier (Foundation → Optimize → Advanced), clearly distinguish FDA-approved treatments from research compounds, cite our sources, and update recommendations as new research emerges. Our goal is honest, practical guidance, not hype.

Are advanced interventions safe?

Advanced interventions carry more risk and often require medical supervision. We clearly label evidence levels and potential risks for each intervention. Always consult with a healthcare provider before starting any advanced protocol, especially those involving medications or peptides.

How often is the protocol updated?

We review and update the protocol regularly as new research emerges. Each intervention page shows when it was last updated. Major changes (new evidence, safety concerns) are reflected promptly.
